Rice Football Post Spring Projected Depth Chart

Rice football has wrapped up spring practices and provisional depth charts are being penciled in on South Main. Here’s our best projection entering the summer.

There was plenty of buzz this spring when it came to the host of new players on campus, suited up for Rice football for the first time. Those new additions competed with returning players with the hope that some semblance of clarity would emerge by the time the allotted sessions were through.

The program itself does not release an official depth chart. Recent experience suggests that’s not happening any time soon, with head coach Scott Abell elected to keep his cards close to the vest until it’s time to publish his first fall two-deep.

Given that, we’ve put boots on the ground and spoken with coaches, staffers, and others familiar with the state of the Owls’ program. When Rice takes the field against Houston Christian, here are the players we expect to get the first reps:
