Another one-score game in the fourth quarter got away from Rice Football late. What should we make of a great defensive showing and a tough outing for the offense?
Injuries and poor play kept Rice football from putting together any semblance of a balanced offensive flow in a waterlogged day at East Carolina. The defense did their part, as did special teams — shout-out to kicker Tommy Bauchiero — but it wasn’t enough to turn a loss into a win. Now 1-5 on the season, the Owls are searching for answers to get things turned around quickly.
We talked through it all. You can find previous episodes on the podcast page. For now, give a listen to Episode 242.
