The Rice football safety room looks a lot different than it did a year ago at this time, but that’s a welcome change when considering the injuries and inconsistencies the Owls battled through on the back end last fall. Better health and the right injection of talent have transformed this group into one of the deepest rooms on campus, which bodes well for the program as they attempt to regain their moxie on this side of the ball.
