Q. It’s hard to believe Rice baseball would ever be “rebuilding” but if that is the case, when will it be over? When are the Owls going back to Omaha?

A. Rice baseball was the premier program of the university and a standard-bearer for the state under Wayne Graham. But things have fallen off over the last several years, bottoming out in an abridged 2-14 season in the spring of 2020.
