Rice Football hits the road to take on East Carolina. Here's the latest from the field as the Owls look to secure their first conference win of the season.

A team that Rice football quarterback Jacurri Brown declared this week was "the best 1-4 team in the country" hit the grass this week as they work to get back in the win column following a string of tough defeats. Developing an offensive rhythm and maintaining consistency on defense are the marching orders but, as the Owls have found, sometimes that's easier said than done.

“It’s definitely coming. We’re continuing to work. You can see within the given games," slot Jordan Clark said. "We’ve just got to put it all together.”
