The Rice football roster changed a lot this offseason. From the Transfer portal to high school signees, here is where the Owls stand.

Year-over-year continuity is a rare thing, particularly in the world of college sports in the Transfer Portal era. Rice football has managed to maintain a reasonably high rate of retention through the years, but this season could very well be the biggest shakeup yet with so many players out of eligibility or departing as transfers.

The Rice football roster currently sits at 104 players — 51 returners and 53 newcomers. Here is a rundown of who left, who came back and how each of the new faces got to South Main.
