Rice women’s basketball delivered a tremendous 29-6 (17-1) season under head coach Lindsay Edmonds, securing a regular-season American Conference title and a program-best 22-game winning streak. Edmonds secured her 100th career coaching victory along the way.
A lack of postseason success is unavoidable when assessing a campaign that rose to such heights, yet even without a tournament trophy at the end of the year, it was a successful season on South Main for Edmonds and her squad.
