The American Conference discontinued its preseason media poll without notice prior to the 2025 season. The Roost is keeping this historical record alive.
With no current indication that the American Conference is going to reverse course and reinstitute its preseason Media Poll, we’re starting to collect submissions once again for an independent poll.
Last year, The Roost broke the news that the poll was being discontinued and would not be released during Media Days, but with the news coming in the days before the event, there wasn’t time to source the votes from beyond a select circle of media outlets. This year, we’re changing that.
The intent is to gather submissions from media AND fans this time. We’ll release the media-specific poll as expected, but if there’s enough traction, we’ll add in some context regarding the pulse of the fans, too.
